SYO began an advertising campaign to promote its already successful Fingerprint Controls systems. The ad is displayed on the brand new state of the art LCD billboard at Hall Road (M-59) and Cass Avenue, in Utica. The ad can be seen while traveling Eastbound on M-59. The Department Of Environmental Quality, Financial And Business Services Division, in Lansing, MI, arrived to work Thursday morning and began using their new BioMetric Door Control System.

SYO installed the new system earlier in the week. The new system is monitored and administered locally at the Lansing office, but the configuration of the equipment allows officials in Lansing, at DEQ Headquarters, to monitor and administer the system as well.

The Department Of Environmental Quality, District Headquarters, in Kalamazoo, MI, arrived to work Wednesday morning and began using their new BioMetric Door Control System.

Independent Offices, L.L.C. Contracted with SYO to have the Telecommunications and Data Communications Infrastructure designed and implemented for a new multi tenant office building. SYO will be providing Internet connectivity to each office as well as the infrastructure wiring.

This new building is being designed and built specifically for single office suites. One of the features that set this company apart from others is the wall design. The walls in this building go all the way to the roof, so there is no way to get from one office to another by removing ceiling tiles and hopping over the wall. Also, all the walls are insulated for sound, you won't be able to hear the person in the next room when they are talking.

Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, Warren Field Office, remains calm after initiating a lockdown in their Biometrically Controlled Door Access System. The DEQ recently had the Actatek Door Control System by Hectrix (www.hectrix.com) installed by SYO Computer Engineering Services (www.syo.com) of Shelby Township, Michigan. The new Biometric Control System quickly locked all exterior doors to the facility when the building manager, Jeff Seibenick, initiated the command.

Warren, MI police were called to the scene at 12 Mile Road and Van Dyke early Monday morning after an employee of Noble International reported an attempted carjacking at gun point which ended with the victim being stabbed. The victim said he knocked a gun out of the carjackers hand only to find the carjacker had a knife. The man reported he was then stabbed with the knife. Local businesses were evacuated; and area schools were locked down along with the DEQ.

The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality has selected SYO to install a new Biometric Access System at its Warren facility. This Biometric Access System replaces a proximity card access system that has become too costly to maintain. SYO and the MDEQ are currently negotiating for plans to perform similar installations at the remaining facilities.
